22nd - 27th January

Filming Diary

This is a short diary of our filming progress, it will show dates and what we filmed on those days as well as behind the scenes images of us working on set at our various locations.

Thursday 22nd January

Today we began filming at our first location, we didn't manage to get all the filming for this location finished today but we plan on going back tomorrow to finish off the small amount of filming we didn't do. Due to a timetable clash we hadn't accounted for team members Jemma and Steph switched their roles in the film. Due to this change I've put a gallery below that contains photos of changed props because of the change of actor.

These are a few images I took during our afternoon of filming in our first location. This was pre filming.

Friday 23rd January

Today we finished the filming we missed yesterday, we also chose to reshoot some of the shots we filmed yesterday after deciding we weren't pleased with how they looked on camera. We also began to upload some of our footage onto wix to play around with different effects on them before we began editing for the rough cut.

Sunday 25th January

We did the majority of our filming for the opening today, we shot at multiple locations and finished all scenes except for one which will be filmed on Tuesday in place of today due to the schedule of our actor.

Tuesday 27th January

Today we finished the rest of our filming, we shot the last parts for the opening and we also took some stills and short videos of certain subjects for our superimpositioning in the scene.

Originally for our thriller opening one of our members was going to compose the track for our work, however due to scheduling issues and a heavy workload we decided not too compose our own track. In order to find a track suitable we looked on 'Incompetech' for royalty free music and found this track that we plan to use in our opening.

We chose this track because we like how it sounds, we think it fits really well in our opening and it's quite a long track so we won't have a repetitive track that will bore our viewers. We also think it fits the genre of thriller films as it's quite suspensful.
